With losses by both Wake and Clemson, the Clemson game remains huge. Instead of two good teams fighting for a championship, we have a game that will define the season for both teams.

We will find out if our offense is any good and Clemson once again has their coaching drama.

We may still be playing for a division championship, but now we have subplots.

Agreed. I kept wondering how bad this would have been without the refs' assistance. Kind of embarrasing.
According to the radio announcers, the replay booth called down to the field at half time to tell the field crew that the two chop block calls against Navy were bogus. The blocks were perfectly legit cut-blocks; the field crew had no clue. At least one of those killed a Navy drive.

To make the loss sting even more, the refs certainly weren't doing Navy any favors.

That helmet to helmet hit to start the third quarter, causing the fumble, and resulting in our first touchdown was a blatant personal foul. Navy should have kept that ball and gotten 15 yards. Instead it turned into 7 points for us.

Still think that if Skinner can keep the INTs down this team will be just fine. Perhaps this is a good wake up call for the team, though a painful one.
